- SEN in modern society: Understanding Complex Learning Difficulties and
Disabilities and the impact of music on learning and development.
- Teaching a child with SEN to play and instrument. What teachers/tutors need to
know. Disabilities, definitions, labels and capabilities.
- Why we should focus on inclusive creativity.
- Auditory Processing Disorder and music lessons.
- The value of music improvisation for children and young people with SEN. An
insight into innovations and practical resources.
- Challenging behaviour, mental health and music.
- How to set up your own inclusive music ensemble-leading the way and
transforming communities.

Master Classes

Conductology is the universal and fully inclusive live composing sign language. Tried and tested, this innovative system has been scientifically proven to enhance cognitive ability, creativity, self esteem, language and social skills, and self-efficacy. The gesture system comprises 18 directives signed by the Conductologist (composer) to indicate which sound should be executed.
Aim: To enhance language, social and emotional skills, cognitive ability, creative thinking, musicality, collaboration, confidence and self-esteem.
Ideal Client: Musician, educator, tutor, healthcare professional, lecturers, early years’ professionals, special education professionals, community musicians, performing arts.
Duration: 9 hours (1 and a half days)
Investment: £500 includes working with an ensemble, passing units and gaining 2-year certification as a Conductologist. The participant is also entered into the Conductology registry managed by Conductology C.I.C.
